The Ward's Island Association has been the voice of our unique island neighbourhood for generations β organizing events, preserving our history, and building a resilient community together.
Who We Are
Nestled in Toronto's Inner Harbour, Ward's Island is a car-free residential community of about 262 leasehold homes. The Ward's Island Association represents our residents, hosts community events, maintains shared spaces, and advocates on issues that matter to island life.
From annual socials to neighbourhood cleanups, the WIA brings island residents together β new and long-time alike.
Car-free living, ferry rides, and the beauty of the lake. We work to protect and celebrate the unique environment we call home.
Through challenges and change β including the loss and rebuilding of our clubhouse β our community has always come back stronger.
